Department of Information and Communication Technology
In order to implement the vision of Digital Bangladesh announced by the honorable Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the government has given special importance to the application and use of information and communication technology (ICT) at the district, upazila, and union levels, ensuring technical assistance. It aims to reach the benefits of ICT to remote areas, ensure security measures, monitoring, implementation, and quality control, and enhance the skills of computer professionals to ensure the provision of e-services across the country. To achieve this goal, the "Department of Information and Communication Technology" was established on July 31, 2013. As part of its continuity, on July 14, 2015, Assistant Programmer was appointed at the Department of Information and Communication Technology, Sadar Upazila, Narayanganj. Subsequently, on September 5, 2019, the Department of Information and Communication Technology appointed programmer at the district offices, in Narayanganj.
